Name of record/artist: Tyler, The Creator - Wolf (2013)
DIBS: What emotion does this record invoke for you?
All the emotions. Mainly happiness, but a little bit of anger, confusion, ya know, the usual teen angst stuff.
DIBS: What is your favorite instrumentation part of this album?
There are 3 instrumentals that I fell in love with on this album: Awkward, 48, and Bimmer on Partyisntover/Campfire/Bimmer. Treehome95 was amazing as well.
DIBS: Does this record bring back any memories for you?
This came out my senior year of high school, so that's what I attach most to this album; Skating with friends, going to the mall, going to Sonic after football games, going to parties, all that teenage bullshit.
DIBS: What are the highlight tracks?
IFHY, Awkward, 48, Partyisntover/Campfire/Bimmer, Tamale
DIBS: Describe the album artwork
There's like 4 different album covers for this but my favorite cover is the drawing with Tyler sitting on his bike Slater in the woods.
DIBS: RAPID WORD ASSOCIATION - What is the FIRST word that comes to your head when this album comes on?
YOUTH
DIBS: Why should WE listen to this record?
This record has a little bit of everything: Silly/childish wordplay, some sad/dark tracks, some very pretty synths on the mainly instrumental tracks, but overall its just an album that can remind you of all the feelings of being young.
